The “Have I Been Pwned” service pools information on any data leaks which have come to light to make them available to the public. Check whether you have been affected by a hacking attack.
There were two major announcements with regard to the “Have I Been Pwned” service last month. Firstly, the platform source code has been published. This safeguards the longevity of this project, originally started by just one person, since volunteers can now contribute to developing this service further. Secondly, “Have I Been Pwned“ is supported by the FBI, which regularly provides the site with information on new data leaks.
