What is the best security product to use with Android? AV-Test has been testing the most commonly used antivirus software.
The independent AV-Test research centre AV-TEST has tested 15 security products for Android. The products tested were always the latest versions currently available to the general public. The results can be found here.
Please note however that tests like these should always be treated with caution. Much more important than your choice of software is to continuously keep it up-to-date with automated updates, so that you are always protected against the latest risks, too! And of course that you have installed a security product on your device at all!
One more basic piece of information on antivirus software for smartphones and tablets: It is vital that you install antivirus software on your Android device, although you don’t currently need this for iOS devices such as iPhones or iPads.
