“LINDA protects against phishing!” – The second wave of this campaign is being rolled out
It’s that time again: From 15th September to 14th October 2026, this year’s card security campaign will be back for its second round. Under the motto of “LINDA protects against phishing!”, Card Security is once again drawing attention to the dangers of phishing and card fraud.
Pay Attent!on: Together against payment fraud
With “Pay Attent!on”, the financial sector and police are combining resources in the fight against phishing, scams and other types of payment fraud. “eBanking – but secure!” (EBAS) has been instrumental in creating this new national prevention initiative, applying their long years of experience with fraud prevention to the campaign. EBAS will also be actively involved in operating Pay Attent!on and on their board in the future.
Semi-annual report by the Bundesamt für Cybersicherheit
The current semi-annual report by the Bundesamt für Cybersicherheit (BACS) has shown that cyber threat levels remain high, and attacks are becoming increasingly personalised. The one thing particularly relevant for banks is the combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Social Engineering and compromised credentials.
