It makes it easier for attackers to take control of a device. Most updates are offered free-of-charge for download by software manufacturers on their website, or distributed automatically.&lt;\/div&gt;\n\"  data-mobile-support=\"0\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>update<\/span> their software regularly, and make the new version available to users.
