Customer data are protected from undesirable third party access during transfer by implementing various security precautions. A digital <span class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Transport Layer Security (TLS)&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;This is a hybrid encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the Internet.&lt;\/div&gt;\n\"  data-mobile-support=\"0\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>TLS<\/span>\/<span class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;This is the description of the predecessor of Transport Layer Security (TLS).&lt;\/div&gt;\n\"  data-mobile-support=\"0\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>SSL<\/span> certificate allows for checking the e-banking server's identity.<\/p>\n<p>Data between the e-banking server and the customer computer are encrypted both ways. This modern and widely used technology guarantees a high standard of security, protecting the data recorded and transferred from manipulation.
