Password manager

Despite new developments such as passkeys, password managers remain a vital tool to ensure you remain secure in the digital world.

Security requirements for your online access keep increasing, your passwords keep having to be ever longer and more complex, and most of all: different for every account you access. Password managers have proven themselves vital helpers with this, ensuring secure and neat management of your credentials. They also offer additional handy features such as automatic synchronisation across several of your devices.

The advancement of technologies such as passkeys is one step further towards secure and user-friendly online usage. Despite the advantages of such modern technologies though, password managers still remain essential – not least because many platforms don’t support passkeys just yet.

One example demonstrating the importance of password manager reliability occurred in July 2024, when an error inside Google Password Manager led to millions of users no longer being able to access their stored passwords. Although the problem was quickly solved, it did demonstrate how crucial it is to choose a reliable provider.
