Secure e-banking starts when logging in

Even the most secure password in the world becomes useless if you disclose it in the wrong place. You should therefore follow our instructions on how to log in securely.

Don’t fall for fake links in e-mails or  search engine results. The only secure way to start your e-banking session is to manually enter the address of your financial institution directly into your browser address line.

Make sure that you are actually on the correct website by checking the domain name and that the connection is secure.

Remain alert and wary even once you are logged in. Postpone your e-banking session if you are surrounded by prying eyes. Notify your financial institution immediately in case you receive any unusual error messages.

Read in more detail what to watch out for when logging in, while e-banking and when logging out.
