Report cyber incidents

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has revamped its website. You can now use it to notify them of cyber incidents via their report form.

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), previously Melde- und Analysestelle Informationssicherung (MELANI), is the centre of excellence of the Bund für Cybersicherheit (Cyber Security Federation) and the first port of call for businesses, authorities and the general public for any Internet security queries.

The NCSC receives reports about cyber incidents on their revamped website. Once reporters have answered just a few short questions, they are automatically directed to suggestions on how to proceed further, and receive first assistance with their issue. Reporters can then supply additional information to conclude the process, enabling the NCSC to provide them with additional support if required.

This information also provides an important contribution to the ability to rapidly recognise incident trends, to creating a complete picture of the cyber situation, and to taking appropriate counter-measures.
