Did I get hacked?

The free-of-charge “Have I Been Pwned” platform, where you can check whether any of your online accounts have been hacked, just keeps growing. It currently includes over 10 billion entries.

The free-of-charge “Have I been Pwned” platform enables you to find out whether your log-in details for any online accounts have been compromised or were published due to a data breach. To do so, you simply need to enter your respective user name or e-mail address into the platform. Never the password to be checked though!

What to do if one of my online accounts has been hacked?

In case you find a compromised or published online account of yours, “Have I Been Pwned“ displays the service involved. You should change your password for this as soon as you can so that your stolen access data become invalid.

You can read up on the things to watch out for when choosing passwords here.
